The AHS boy’s and girl’s basketball teams were back in action last night. This came in the form of short, exhibition scrimmages hosted by AHS, where our boys and girls faced off against both Solomon High School and Russell High School. The night was highlighted by two explosive offensive performances from senior varsity basketball player Ian Crump.
“It was great to just go play again,” Crump said.
Crump had 18 points in the first game against Russell and 5 points against Solomon. During a three-play series in the Russel game, Crump had two back-to-back threes on top of a final “and one” layup to end his very own scoring run.
“I was just feeling it,” Crump said.
Crump will help lead the Cowboys when they head down to Circle on Friday, December 6 for their first regular season game.
“I’m just ready to get out there and play,” Crump said.
