Senior, Emily Burt, talked about how she felt the girls competed at the tournament , “I think our first set was really good, but through the night we struggled a little more, so we just need to work on maintaining our energy.

Freshman, Jenna Hayes, also expressed her belief on the team’s strengths and what she thought could have enhanced their playing, “During the Clay Center game I think that we need to improve on talking, and cutting out our errors, and I think we did really good at playing as a team and encouraging each other to do our best.”

Coach Jantz included his thoughts on how the girls played, and what they need to practice for the next game to be even better, “We need to play well; I hope we play well, and meet our seed.” Overall the girls did pretty well, but there is always room for improvement.
