Cowboy’s Karsen Loader gets hand raised after a pin victory in Wamego.

On Thursday, December 1st the Cowboy wrestling team traveled to Wamego, Kansas. The cowboys came into the dual on fire jumping out to an 18-0. In the beginning, it was all Abilene. Wamego finally got things going when they went on a rally and tied the score 18-18. After that, it was all Cowboys yet again.

Abilene came our earning 2 forfeits and 4 pins. Luke Hager, Dakotah Whiteley, Adam Henely, Brandon Parker, and Karsen Loader all earned the forfeits of the duel Thursday night. On Saturday, December 7, the Cowboy wrestling team will return to Wamego for a multi-team tournament. Sophomore Karsen Loader said “Everyone wrestled good. We had a few mistakes but it was our first dual. We can only get better for Beloit.”
